Police: Teen fatally shot near Vancouver-area strip mall
VANCOUVER, Wash. (AP) – Authorities say someone fatally shot an 18-year-old man at a strip mall near Vancouver, Washington.
The Clark County Sheriff’s Office says the shooting was reported Monday afternoon in Hazel Dell.
The man died at the scene.
The sheriff’s office says witnesses reported seeing the suspect leave the scene in a vehicle.
The sheriff’s office said Monday evening that the suspect remains unknown, but they don’t believe there’s any danger to the public.
The identity of the teen killed hasn’t been released.
An investigation is ongoing.
