Mosaic Medical receives matching grant

KTVZ

Mosaic Medical is excited to announce a $5,000 matching gift challenge, provided by the Maybelle Clark McDonald Fund. This generous gift will double your donation to The Lynn Martin Memorial Fund, a fund that breaks down barriers to health and wellness for our most vulnerable patients. Any gift made between November 27, 2018 and January 1, 2019 will be matched.

So, how do your donations help? It’s the beaming smile of Sarah who just received a new pair of glasses or the warm handshake of John who can walk without pain because of new orthotics. These little things are the BIG things for individuals and families. Other examples of your dollars at work include:

Critical asthma medication for a young child whose family has insurance but struggles to afford co-pays. Blood sugar testing supplies for a diabetic homeless patient. A gas card for a patient to get to OHSU Knight Cancer Center for an initial consultation. “Lynn Martin was Mosaic Medical’s first executive director, who instilled an organizational culture of going above and beyond to meet the physical and social needs of patients. No patient is ever turned away due to their insurance status, income level, or country of origin and no request is too big for our staff to help. We are grateful for the generous support of the Maybelle Clark McDonald Fund that will allow us to carry out Lynn’s life mission and support the social needs of our patients,” says Megan Haase, Mosaic Medical’s CEO.
