KTVZ

Good Thursday Morning, Everyone…
The advance of the next system will thicken our cloud cover today and bring showers through the afternoon along with breezy winds. Highs will be in the mid 40’s to low 50’s and southerly winds will ramp up to 15-20 mph with gusts to 25+ mph. Showers will taper off tonight, but we will still see a slight chance of mixed showers as lows dip into the 20’s. SW breezes will back off to 5-10 mph.
A break in storm activity Friday and Saturday will be accompanied by cooler temps left behind by the passing cold front. Highs will be in the low 40’s and overnight lows will be in the low 20’s and low 30’s. The next system packing rain showers and a warmer southerly push will bring rain to the high desert Sunday and Monday along with highs in the mid 40’s. A cooling trend will follow as the front from that system passes. The system behind that will move more showers in beginning late Wednesday.
