Local Alert Weather, Fri. AM, 12.21.18
Good Friday Morning, Everyone…
Today we get to enjoy a nice little break in between storm systems! Under mostly sunny skies highs will be in the upper 30’s to low 40’s. Afternoon breezes will be out of the west at a gentle 5-10 mph. A few extra clouds will build in this evening and that will send us into tonight with partly cloudy skies. Overnight lows will be chilly, in the low to mid 20’s, but still a little above average. Breezes will be gentle out of the south.
The next system will push in over the course of Saturday and bring an increased chance of rain showers that afternoon. With lows dropping close to freezing we can expect to mix a little snow into those showers Saturday night. This storm system will be fairly broad and it will deliver a chance of rain during the day and some snow showers overnight right through Christmas Day and beyond. Daytime highs will be in the low 40’s and lows will drop back into the 20’s.
