Wyden postpones C.O. town halls due to Senate votes
Sen. Ron Wyden, D-Ore., announced Tuesday that due to expected Senate votes this week, he’s postponing a dozen town halls planned across the state, including three in Central Oregon.
Wyden had planned the series of town halls, including the last ones on Friday, Jan. 25 in Prineville and Jan. 26 in Madras and Bend.
The senator’s office said the votes amid the partial government shutdown is prompting the postponements. The town halls will be rescheduled for a later date, he said.
