Local Alert Weather – Fri. PM

KTVZ

Happy Friday evening, everyone!

Tonight we’ll see calm winds under a ridge of high pressure. An AIR STAGNATION ADVISORY is in effect through Monday at noon for poor air quality levels at times over the weekend. Those with respiratory issues will notice this the most. We could see some areas of fog develop overnight, but mainly through lower elevations. Low temperatures will fall into the low to mid 20s, which is average. Mostly clear skies will carry us into the weekend.

Saturday starts with that AIR STAGNATION ADVISORY in place through Monday. We will see some haze in the morning and throughout the day. Mostly sunny skies will be overhead. After a cold start in the morning we will warm into the upper 40s and lower 50s by noon. Daytime highs top out more than 10 degrees above average in the mid to upper 50s. Winds will be calm through the weekend.

We’ll see another day with above average temperatures and mostly sunny skies for Sunday. Highs will be in the mid to upper 50s. Winds will still be calm!

Overnight into Sunday we’ll see a cold front, so our temperatures will be cooler for Monday. Highs will return to average in the low to mid 40s to begin the week. We stay dry all the way through Wednesday with a slight chance for showers kicking up by the end of the week.
