KTVZ

Good Tuesday Morning, Everyone…
Patchy freezing fog is affecting just about everyone as an air stagnation advisory for much of Central Oregon will stay in place until noon Wednesday. Under mostly clear skies today’s highs will be in the upper 30’s to low 40’s. We will see very little, if any, air motion at all today. Skies will be partly cloudy tonight. With calm winds and lows in the mid to upper 20’s, developing freezing fog is possible for everyone.
While Wednesday expects to be a bit warmer, highs approaching 50, we will also see a greater threat of dense freezing fog in the morning throughout the region. Thursday will mark the day of change as the next system rolls in. Morning fog will yield and we will see some clouds begin to develop. Some may see a scattered sprinkle or two later in the day. Clouds will thicken Thursday night and the chance of rain for all will increase on Friday. Lows Friday night will get down to freezing and a bit below, so we will see some snow mix in with those rain showers. We will retain a chance of mixed showers through the weekend and into the start of next week. A cooling trend will have our daytime highs back down to the upper 30’s to low 40’s by Monday.
