Local Alert Weather, Fri. AM, 2.8.19
Good Friday Morning, Everyone…
Today it begins! After waking up to partly cloudy skies we can expect the clouds to thicken and deliver a chance of mixed showers that will quickly turn to snow showers. Highs will be in the mid 30’s and winds are expected to stay calm. Breezes will become light out of the south tonight. Lows will be in the 20’s and snow accumulations of about an inch are possible by morning.
Our best chance of snow accumulation will be Saturday and Saturday night, but we are not expecting more than an inch or two for most locations. Upper elevations may see 3-4 inches of fresh snow by Sunday morning. Saturday night lows will be in the single digits and Sunday’s highs won’t get higher than the mid 20’s. We will live with cold temperatures and a chance of scattered snow showers for the next several days.
