Local Alert Weather, Wed. AM, 2.20.19
Good Wednesday Morning, Everyone…
The NW flow that gave us a little snow overnight will continue to push cold, wet air into the NW today. Snow accumulations will be heaviest to the south giving areas around la pine the chance to see 3-6″ of fresh snow. Others will see 1-3″ accumulate. Highs will be in the low to mid 30’s with gusty NW winds at 10-15 mph. Snow showers taper off a bit tonight with lows dropping into the teens and gentle north winds.
The storm will break up Thursday morning, but we will be left with cold temps and some partial clearing. Friday’s highs will reach the upper 30’s to low 40’s under partly cloudy skies. Highs will stay in the upper 30’s to low 40’s through the weekend and a chance of mixed showers and snow showers will stay with us through the weekend, into next week.
