Friday PM Weather Forecast 2-22-19
Good evening, Central Oregon,
Our skies have been mostly clear Friday, but clouds have started to make their way back into Central Oregon.
Temperatures on Friday were anywhere from four to 11 degrees warmer than Thursday. Winds were an average of 5 to 10 mph out of the southwest and will stay this way through the weekend.
On Friday evening the warming trend will continue, but it will still be several degrees below average for this time of year.
There is also a chance of snow showers Friday night and it increases as we make our way into Saturday.
Overnight lows for Friday will be in the 20s, from 23 degrees in La Pine to 29 in Warm Springs.
On Saturday, highs will be slightly warmer than Friday ranging from 36 degrees in Sunriver to 41 in
Redmond and Warm Springs.
We are expecting snow to start making its way into Central Oregon for the higher elevations Friday night, with chances of snow all across the entire region beginning Saturday afternoon.
There’s a 50-80 percent chance of snow on Sunday moving into Monday for all of Central Oregon.
On Tuesday, we will begin to see chances for snow decrease and we could again start to see partly sunny skies.
