Local Alert Weather, Wednesday 0830, 2.27.19
Good Wednesday Morning, Everyone…
Snow showers will slowly taper off today and we will stay cold. We will still see a couple inches of snow accumulate through the day and highs will only reach the mid to upper 20’s. Northerly breezes will be gentle at 5-10 mph. Another 1-2″ of snow will accumulate tonight as lows drop into the single digits and low teens. Gentle breezes will turn SW after midnight.
Under a variable cloud cover we will see a chance of some scattered snow showers Thursday. Mostly cloudy skies Thursday night will pose little threat for more snow. We get a break from the storm activity, but not the chilly temps Friday and Friday night. Skies will be partly cloudy and highs will be in the low to mid 30’s. Overnight lows will be in the teens. The weekend will be equally cold with highs in the low to mid 30’s and lows in the teens. There will be only a slight chance of scattered snow showers Saturday. The new work week will start with partly cloudy skies and highs around freezing.
