Local Alert Weather Forecast, Thu. AM, 2-28-19
Good Thursday Morning, Everyone…
A strong upper level flow from the west will help force a cold front to the east. With that we will see some partial clearing and cold temperatures. Today skies will be partly cloudy to mostly sunny. Highs will only reach the mid 30’s, however, and breezes will remain fairly calm. Tonight we will see lows in the teens as mostly cloudy skies deliver a slight chance of scattered snow showers with light southerly breezes.
Friday will see a slight chance of some scattered snow showers, but they won’t last long. Skies will become partly cloudy Friday night and that will carry us into a fair, but cold weekend. Skies will start Saturday mostly sunny to partly cloudy and then the clouds will thicken from there. With a somewhat variable cloud cover to start the new week, we are not expecting much by way of any new snow until Tuesday…even then it will only be a slight chance later in the day. The cloud cover will thicken Wednesday and deliver a better chance of more snow. During all of this we will stay pretty cold. Daytime highs will be in the low to mid 30’s and overnight lows will be dropping into the teens.
