Local Alert Weather – Tues. PM
Happy Tuesday evening, everyone!
Shower chances will end overnight as a few showers are left behind the cold front. Winds will stay breezy for us this evening gusting around 25 miles per hour for most of Central Oregon. Expect partly cloudy skies overhead apart from the chance for snow showers. Low temperatures will fall into the low to mid 20s, which is average.
Tomorrow sees partly cloudy skies overall, but dry conditions throughout the day. A drying trend will be the case across Central Oregon for the next several days. We’ll see cool daytime highs in the upper 30s and lower 40s, which is about 10 degrees below average.
A ridge of high pressure will build back over the region heading into the weekend. As a result we will see drier conditions and a gradual warm up.
Overnight into Thursday we’ll see cold temperatures and mostly clear skies. Increasing clouds will head our way Thursday, but the High Desert will remain dry. Temperatures will get to the low to mid 40s.
We keep warming and drying out through the weekend. High temperatures will be around average in the lower 50s (!!!), so we can expect melting and re-freezing across Central Oregon. Saturday looks to be cloudier than Sunday with mostly cloudy skies. Sunday will see mostly sunny skies.
