KTVZ

Good Monday Morning, Everyone…

Though temperatures may top out slightly below average today, sunshine and a gentle northerly breeze will deliver another beautiful day to the High Desert. Highs will reach the low 50’s. We may see a cloud or two tonight, but overall the night will stay quite clear. Lows will dip into the mid 20’s, pretty average for this time of year. Those gentle breezes will turn westerly after midnight.

With highs climbing into the mid 50’s we are anticipating a very pleasant week across Central Oregon. We have an ever so slight chance of a sprinkle or two across the region as we go through the middle of the week, but out best chance at seeing some spring showers will be late Friday and through Friday night. Some scattered showers may carry into Saturday, but this does not look to be a very big event. Even the mountains are only expecting a 20-30% chance of snow showers with light accumulations. That brief storm going into the weekend will leave behind some cooler temperatures. Highs will be in the upper 40’s this weekend and will likely stay there going into next week.
