Local Alert Weather, Fri. AM, 3-29-19
Good Friday Morning, Everyone…
A weakening low pressure center will continue to pull some moisture into the region and that will give us a chance of scattered rain showers through much of the day. Highs will range from the upper 40’s to mid 50’s. Winds will stay pretty light and variable through the day. Some gradual clearing in the late evening will leave us under partly cloudy skies tonight. Lows will be in the upper 20’s to low 30’s with light and variable breezes.
The cold air mass that has been locked down over us for the past few days will get forced off to the east and that will allow temperatures to rise a bit this weekend. Skies will stay mostly sunny to partly cloudy and daytime highs will reach the mid to upper 50’s both Saturday and Sunday. Clouds will thicken Sunday night and include a slight chance of scattered rain showers. We will live with the likelihood of rain showers Monday and Tuesday. These will be spring showers, however, so our temps will stay mild, topping out in the low to mid 50’s…almost average for this time of year. Even though the greatest strength of this system will start to break up, we will live with a chance of showers right through the middle of next week.
