Local Alert Weather, Thu. AM, 4-18-19
Good Thursday Morning, Everyone…
High pressure that has been building in over the region will give us plenty of sunshine and blue skies today. Highs will climb into the mid 70’s and SW breezes will stay gentle at 5-10 mph. A few more clouds will form this evening and that will take us into a partly cloudy night. No showers are expected and lows will stay mild, scattered through the 40’s. Evening breezes out of the west will turn SW after midnight.
Clouds will thicken Friday morning and deliver a chance of rain through the afternoon and evening. Highs will stay mild, in the low to mid 60’s, but the passage of a weak front will boost NW winds to 5-15 mph with gusts to 20-25 mph. This small system will weaken quickly and pass out of our area Saturday morning. Skies will be partly cloudy and highs will only reach the mid to upper 50’s. Beginning Sunday much fairer conditions will prevail. Sunny to mostly sunny skies are expected into next week with highs in the mid 60’s to low 70’s. A very slight chance of isolated showers is expected Tuesday through the middle of the week.
