KTVZ

Happy Thursday evening, everyone!

A ridge of high pressure will weaken over the past 24 hours to give us a change in the weather. Today was our warmest day of the year so far with temperatures into the mid to upper 70s! We’ll see mostly clear skies overnight. Temperatures will be in the low to mid 40s for overnight lows, which is well above average for this time of year. Winds will be light.

Tomorrow starts with sunshine, but will see an increase in cloud cover throughout the day. Highs will peak early in the low to mid 60s ahead of a cold front Friday night. Winds will be gusty with this cold front arriving gusting around 25 miles per hour. Friday sees a chance for rain showers in the afternoon lasting through the overnight into Saturday.

Lows going into Saturday will be in the mid to upepr 30s and lower 40s. Saturday will see rain showers in the morning, but will break up in the afternoon. Highs will be some of the coolest for our extended forecast in the mid to upper 50s. We’ll see a clearing the second half of the day.

Easter Sunday looks to be mostly sunny with highs in the low to mid 60s. The morning, however, looks to be chilly with temperatures in the mid to upper 30s, so bundle up for those egg hunts!

Mild to warm temperatures stick around for the beginning of the next week with highs in the upper 60s and lower 70s.
