(Update: Name of suspect, details, background)

A 25-year-old Bend woman was arrested on drunken and reckless driving charges after a rollover crash early Thursday morning by Drake Park, police said.

The crash happened just after 2:30 a.m., when officers said Rebekah Watson’s pickup truck struck a tree beside Northwest Riverside Boulevard.

There were no apparent injuries to the driver or her dog, who was also in the truck, but the woman did have to be helped out of the truck, police said.

Watson was booked into the Deschutes County Jail on DUII-alcohol and reckless driving charges. She was being held on $10,000 bail..

Police said the dog was taken to the Humane Society of Central Oregon for care until the driver is released.

Watson was in the news last month when she and two other Bend residents were arrested on heroin possession and other charges in a raid on a fromer rafting company bus parked on a southwest Bend street.
