Local Alert Weather, Mon. AM, 4-22-19
Good Monday Morning, Everyone…
After waking up to clear skies this morning, the passage of a weak front will thicken our clouds through the day. That front will break up as it makes landfall, so we are not expecting any rain showers. Highs will be at or near 70 degrees and NW breezes will be gentle at 5-10 mph. Under mostly cloudy skies, tonight’s lows will stay mild, in the low to mid 40’s. Those gentle breezes will turn SW after midnight.
A westerly flow may keep a few clouds overhead for the next few days, but it certainly won’t spoil our temperatures. Highs through Wednesday will stay around 70 and Thursday we will warm into the mid 70’s. We will cling to a lot of sunshine going into the weekend, but a modest cooling trend will bring daytime highs back down to the upper 50’s to low 60’s, something a little more normal for this time of year.
