Local Alert Weather – Mon. PM

KTVZ

Happy Monday evening, everyone!

A cold breeze will stay with us tonight gusting around 25 miles per hour. Bring some layers if you’re headed out for a walk this evening. Mostly clear skies will stick around tonight going into tomorrow morning. Temperatures will be cold in the 20s tomorrow morning — bundle up!

Tuesday will still be cool with highs only in the low to mid 50s. Winds will be breezy at times in the afternoon as blustery conditions continue. Expect a cool breeze again. Mostly sunny skies are on tap as ridging begins to build in off the Pacific.

A trough of cool air is moving east and as it does so we’ll watch our temperatures warm. Snow levels will also rise and that’s when we’ll see more snow melt and softer snow on the ski slopes.

Highs for Wednesday will be back to average in the low to mid 60s. Wednesday also looks to be one of our windier days of the week with winds gusting 25 to 30 miles per hour. Mostly sunny to partly cloudy skies will be overhead.

By Friday we’ll be into the upper 60s and lower 70s and don’t stop there. Highs top out in the low to mid 70s on Saturday with mostly sunny skies. Sunday looks to be slightly cooler, but still sunny.

Don’t forget your SPF this time of year!
