Boys & Girls Clubs of Bend name new executive director

After an extensive national search and selection process, Boys & Girls Clubs of Bend is excited to announce that Juliana Williams will be the Club’s next executive director. Juliana joins the Club as a Bend-lover and resident with a decade of experience in both business and the nonprofit sector.

Throughout her career, she has worked on complex social issues, driving change through innovation and collaboration. Her core passion lies in prevention and intervention for youth experiencing trauma and adversity.

Boys & Girls Clubs of Bend’s Board Chair, Shon Rae, said, “Boys & Girls Clubs of Bend is incredibly pleased to welcome Juliana Williams as the new Executive Director. Juliana has a passion to serve kids in our community. That passion coupled with her ability to connect and lead makes a perfect match to further the Club’s mission to deliver life-changing outcomes for our community and its kids.”

“I am humbled and grateful to join the family at the Boys & Girls Clubs of Bend as we celebrate 25 years of inspiring young people to reach their full potential. The Clubs are vital to building bright futures for our kids, which in turn creates a thriving community for us all,” shared Juliana Williams. “I look forward to collaborating with other leaders as we change the trajectory for vulnerable children in Bend.”

Juliana previously served as the Program & Operations Director at IN OUR BACKYARD, a national nonprofit, based in Central Oregon. Prior to that, she developed and led the community relations program at global eyewear company, Oakley, Inc. During her time there, she also led a team to launch the Infinite Hero Foundation.

Juliana begins her role as Executive Director on May 8th.
