Local Alert Weather, Fri. AM, 5-10-19
Good Friday Morning, Everyone…
A strong ridge of high pressure continues to make slow progress to the east and that will deliver another sunny, warm day to the High Desert today. Highs will be around 80 degrees and what little breeze we see will be gentle out of the east. Skies will stay clear tonight. Lows will be mild, in the low to mid 40’s, and breezes that turn calm in the evening will stay calm overnight.
This slow moving ridge will keep us under sunny skies all weekend. Highs will be in the mid 80’s Saturday and Sunday. Breezes will remain light and variable. We will stay mostly sunny Monday, but that is when we will begin a cool down. Clouds will get a little thicker Tuesday and bring a chance of showers Tuesday night and Wednesday. By Thursday daytime highs will be back down to the mid 60’s, something more normal for this time of year. A chance of rain showers will stay with us through the end of the work week.
