Local Alert Weather, Tue. AM, 5-21-19
Good Tuesday Morning, Everyone…
A low pressure center that has moved in over the Pacific NW will continue to draw rain showers, a chance of thunderstorms and cool temperatures into the region today. Highs will range from the mid 50’s to low 60’s and variable winds this morning will become gentle out of the north and NW at 5-10 mph. A chance of rain will stay with us tonight as low dip to the mid 30’s to low 40’s.
The chance of showers will diminish a bit Wednesday as that low pressure center moves south. That will also help us warm into the upper 60’s for daytime highs; something a little more normal for this time of year. That same system will then move back to our NE. While we will see some partial clearing Thursday, we can’t totally eliminate the chance of some isolate rain showers. We get a break between systems Thursday night into Friday morning, but the next system moves in quickly. It won’t be quite as strong, but it will deliver a chance of scattered showers through Friday into Friday night. We will be under partly cloudy skies Saturday and Sunday with only a slight chance of isolated showers. Monday, Memorial Day, promises to warm into the low 70’s under mostly sunny skies.
