Good Thursday Morning, Everyone…

The passage of a cold front will deliver rain showers up until about noon today and it will leave behind some cooler temperatures. Highs will be in the low to mid 60’s and NW winds will pick up to 10 -20 mph with gusts to 25 mph . Those winds will turn westerly and stay gusty this evening, and then die down to 5 -10 mph after midnight. Skies will become partly cloudy and lows will drop into the 30’s . Many upper elevations will be dropping below freezing for the next couple nights. Make arrangements to protect sensitive plants and animals.

Friday morning will be pretty dry, but watch for scattered rain showers to build in again through the afternoon and evening. Friday will also be the coldest day of the week with daytime highs in the mid to upper 50’s and overnight lows in the mid 20’s to low 30’s . Some areas will see frost and/or freeze warnings Friday night.

Friday night will also mark the beginning of a clearing trend that will pretty sunny and warming conditions going through the weekend. Saturday’s highs will be close to 70 and Sunday’s highs will be close to 80. From there it just gets hot as we see thermometers climb to the low 90’s by Wednesday.
