Wyden plans June 15 town hall in Prineville

Sen. Ron Wyden, D-Ore., will hold his annual Crook County town hall on Saturday, June 15 at Crook County Middle School in Prineville, his office announced Thursday.

The town hall beginning at 1:30 p.m. at the middle school (100 NE Knowledge Street, Prineville) will be Wyden’s 29th so far this year in Oregon and his 942nd overall since he promised he would hold at least one annual town hall in each of the state’s 36 counties.

“This open-to-all town hall in Crook County lets any Oregonian ask me any question or share any idea,” said Wyden, who this year won a second straight MVP award from the Town Hall Project for holding the most town halls of any senator in 2018.

“Throwing open the doors of government and listening is essential to finding solutions that work in Central Oregon and throughout our state,” Wyden said.
