Firefighters tackle SE Portland warehouse blaze

PORTLAND, Ore. (AP) – Fire officials said crews remained at the scene Saturday of a large warehouse fire in southeast Portland that could be seen for miles.

KGW-TV reports firefighters responded to the fire at the auto-parts warehouse Friday night. The structure is located at Southeast Long Street.

Officials say the blaze was mostly knocked out by 11 p.m. Friday.

No homes in the area were affected.

The cause of the fire is being investigated.
