Local Alert Weather, Wed. AM, 6-19-19
Good Wednesday Morning, Everyone…
We will see enough high pressure to keep our skies clear today, but a brisk NW flow will also help keep our temperatures down. Under sunny skies our highs will be in the low to mid 70’s and NW winds will pick up to 15 -20 mph with gusts to 30 mph . Skies will stay mostly clear tonight. Lows will dip to the mid 30’s to low 40’s . NW winds will back off to 5 -15 mph .
Despite more sunshine Thursday, the cool down will continue. Highs will only reach the mid 60’s . For the next couple of nights upper elevations should prepare for temperatures that will be getting down close to freezing. Friday is the first day of summer and highs will get back into the low 70’s …just a bit below average. We will have a variable cloud cover for the weekend and into next week, but there will also be plenty of sunshine. Highs will be in the low to mid 70’s .
