KTVZ

Good morning, Central Oregon!

We’ll see dry westerly winds today 5-10 mph with mostly clear skies early this morning except for some marine clouds banked up to the Cascades. The flow will become southwesterly with increasing mid and high-level clouds by the early evening.

Today will be mostly sunny, with highs in the 70s.

Showers and thunderstorms may develop tomorrow in response to the low and increasing instability.

Moisture and instability will continue to increase, and we can expect widespread showers and thunderstorms Tuesday night through Thursday morning.

Winds will continue to be 5-10 mph with gusts up to 20 mph through Thursday.

Highs mid-week will be in the mid-60s, with overnight lows in the mid-40s until Friday.

Friday will see highs in the upper 60s then increase to the mid-70s over the weekend with a return of mostly sunny skies.
