Local Alert Weather, Wed. AM, 6-26-19
Good Wednesday Morning, Everyone…
The slow moving storm system that gave us thunderstorms yesterday will continue to do so today. Highs today will be in the mid to upper 60’s . While these cooler temps will weaken the chance of thunderstorms, that chance still exists as storms move through all day. NW winds will be gentle at 5 -10 mph and then become light tonight. Scattered rain will last all night. Lows will be in the mid 30’s to mid 40’s .
With this system moving so slowing we are expecting cool, rainy conditions to be staying with us right through the end of the work week. This will show signs of breaking up Friday night and into Saturday morning. With highs in the low to mid 70’s , Saturday will mark the beginning of a warming trend that will have us under mostly sunny skies with highs in the low 80’s by Tuesday. Another weaker system will give us a mixed cloud cover and a chance of scattered showers Sunday and Monday.
