Local Alert Weather, Mon. AM, 7-1-19
Good Monday Morning, Everyone…
A low pressure center easing its way in our direction will be responsible for increasing our cloud cover and delivering a likelihood of thunderstorms to us today. Highs will be in the mid 70’s and westerly winds will pick up to 10 -15 mph with gusts to 20 mph . Hail and strong downdrafts will be seen with many of the thunderstorms. Mostly cloudy tonight with lows in the 40’s and breezy most of the night.
Apart from a slight chance of pm thunderstorms Wednesday we are looking at a pretty fair week. Daytime highs will stay in the mid 70’s through Wednesday, but beginning Thursday, Independence Day, we will experience a nice warm up under sunny skies. Highs Thursday will be in the low 80’s and conditions for the fireworks displays should be quite clear and mild. Sunny to mostly sunny skies with highs in the mid to upper 80’s will stay with us right through the coming weekend.
