Bend police plan pedestrian safety enforcement
The Bend Police Department will be conducting an enhanced pedestrian safety enforcement Thursday at two locations in the city: NW Newport Avenue at NW Drake Road and NE Revere Avenue at NE 6th Street.
During the three-hour enforcement, from 9 a.m. to noon, officers also will be looking for other traffic violations such as distracted driving and speed.
The Bend Police would like to remind drivers to obey all traffic laws and drive safe.
