Local Alert Weather – Tues. PM

KTVZ

Happy Tuesday evening, everyone!

Rain showers will continue to push into Central Oregon this evening. Showers look to be at their heaviest around 7 p.m. Winds will be out of the northwest around 10 to 15 miles per hour. Temperatures will be quite mild tonight trending around 10 degrees above normal. We’ll see shower chances dwindle around midnight and will be left with mostly cloudy to partly cloudy skies. Roads could be slick because we haven’t seen rain in a while.

Wednesday morning will start with cloudy skies and some leftover sprinkles. Temperatures will be mild to begin the day and we’ll warm into the upper 70s and lower 80s. Winds will be breezy at times in the afternoon gusting around 15 to 20 miles per hour. We’ll see mostly cloudy to partly cloudy skies overhead.

Thursday will be very similar, but a little warmer, and fewer clouds. Winds will still be breezy at times as warm air returns. We’ll see partly cloudy skies by the end of the night.

Friday will be the warmest day for the extended forecast with highs in the mid to upper 80s. Our average is 84 degrees. Mostly sunny skies will wrap up our week for us here on the High Desert.

The weekend ahead will see average highs in the mid 80s with mostly sunny skies overhead!
