Local Alert Weather – Wed. PM
Happy Wednesday evening, everyone!
Tonight we’ll see partly cloudy to mostly cloudy skies overhead. Overnight lows will be in the low to mid 50s, which is about 10 degrees above normal for this time of year. Winds will be around 10 miles per hour.
An area of low pressure is moving north into Vancouver Island and will take the remaining chances for light showers up in the Cascades with it. As a result, we will see decreasing clouds over the coming days with more blue sky in store. Temperatures will be in the low to mid 80s for highs on Thursday. Our average daytime high is now 85 degrees. Winds will be breezy at times in the afternoon and evening gusting around 10 to 15 miles per hour.
Friday will see more sunshine and blue sky instead of gray clouds. We’ll see highs in the mid to upper 80s, which is above normal by a few degrees. Winds will be breezy at times gusting around 15 to 20 miles per hour to wrap up our week.
Heading into the weekend we’ll see mostly sunny skies with some blue skies. High temperatures will be in the low to mid 80s. Winds will be breezy at times, but not too strong. Remember Fire Safety when out and about!
