Hwy. 20 reopens after crash at Old Bend-Redmond Hwy.
(Update: Hwy. 20 eastbound reopens)
An injury crash at U.S. Highway 20 and the Old Bend-Redmond Highway blocked eastbound traffic just west of Bend for about a half-hour late Thursday afternoon, officials said.
The multi-vehicle crash was reported around 4:40 p.m. and there were reported non-life-threatening injuries, Deschutes County sheriff’s Sgt. William Bailey said.
Eastbound traffic was being diverted to OB Riley Road, Deschutes County 911 dispatchers said. Bailey said westbound traffic also was backing up as fires responders worked to clear the eastbound traffic.
The highway was fully open again by about 5 p.m.
