Local Alert Weather – Wed. PM
Happy Wednesday evening, everyone!
Winds will stay gusty through the evening tonight. We’ll see sustained winds around 15 to 20 miles per hour with gusts upwards of 30. Overnight we’ll look to see mostly clear to partly cloudy skies. Low temperatures will be in the mid to upper 40s, which is around normal.
Thursday will see the end to most of the clouds left across Central Oregon. Partly cloudy skies will start the day and mostly sunny skies will end the day. Highs will be in the mid to upper 70s, which is below normal by a few degrees. Winds will still be breezy at times as a weak disturbance exits the region. Gusts will top about 25 miles per hour.
Friday will wake up to sunny skies and we will have a nice, clear day to follow. Highs will be our coolest of the week topping out in the mid to upper 70s. Winds should be much more calm to wrap up our week.
The weekend ahead look very nice with highs in the mid to upper 80s by Sunday. We’ll look to see mostly sunny skies both days and average winds gusting 15 miles per hour. The heat sticks around through the beginning of next week and highs will be in the upper 80s and lower 90s.
