Shepherd’s House offers Thanksgiving feast, seeks donations
In need of jackets, blankets, sleeping bags, beanie hats
BEND, Ore. (KTVZ) -- On Wednesday, starting at noon, Shepherd’s House Ministries will be serving a fabulous Thanksgiving Dinner with all of the fixings. The dinner is open to the public, offering warm, tasty food, safety from the streets, and a refuge from the cold.
We also will be providing other services including overnight housing, food, and clothes for up to 30 individuals during the extreme cold (25 degrees or colder) for those struggling with homelessness. Spread the word to anyone in need this Thanksgiving season.
With the temperatures forecast to dip close to zero degrees over the next several days, we expect to see a large increase in services to the homeless community.
With more people walking through our doors, Shepherd’s House Ministries will be in great need of Jackets, Blankets, Sleeping Bags, and Beanie Hats. Help someone who is cold this Thanksgiving season by dropping off a new or gently used clothing item at our Bend location. Or, you can make a monetary donation to help us fill our clothes closet.
Thanks so much for your support.
