New Year’s Day low-cost spay & neuter clinic held in Bend

'Drop the Balls' was the name of the New Year's-themed spay and neuter, vaccine and microchip clinic for animals held Friday and Saturday at Companion Pet Clinic in Bend. Hosted by The Rawley Project, the clinic offered discounted prices and even lower costs for those on government assistance.

  1. I don’t know if this story was reported prior to this one, but if not, why do you wait until it isn’t valid anymore?
    I’d think Central Oregonians would have liked to have known about this, at least early enough to make an appointment for the service.
    Scold me if I’m incorrect…but, I’ve just heard of this for the first time.

    1. If the organization had sent a news release, it quite likely would have been posted and-or aired – we do that on many events. We often don’t advance-report things because we were not informed. They use other avenues to spread the word.
