Redmond’s State of the City address to cover growth and community challenges

REDMOND, Ore. (KTVZ) — Redmond Mayor Fitch is set to reflect on the past year while providing updates on city projects, initiatives, and challenges for the annual State of the City address on Thursday, May 28, at Redmond City Hall.

The address is scheduled from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. at 411 SW 9th St.

Mayor Fitch plans to cover a wide array of topics saying, "The address will focus on the opportunities and challenges shaping our community, the City of Redmond's proactive approach to managing growth and our commitment to providing high‑quality services grounded in transparency and accountability," Fitch said.

He will also give an overview of city priorities such as infrastructure, affordable housing, long-range planning efforts and water conservation initiatives.

The State of the City address is open and free to the public.

It will stream live on the city's website at www.redmondoregon.gov/stateofthecity, and a recording will be available for on-demand viewing.
