Oregon gas prices continue to drop, averaging $4.96 per gallon

OREGON (KTVZ) -- Good news for Oregon drivers—gas prices are continuing to fall.

According to GasBuddy, the average price for a gallon of regular gas in Oregon dropped nearly 10 cents over the past week to $4.96.

That's down 34 cents from a month ago, though prices remain more than a dollar higher than this time last year.

Across the state, prices ranged from a low of $4.13 a gallon to a high of $6.89.

Nationally, the average price of gas fell more than 9 cents this week to $3.99 a gallon.
