Trader Joe’s to Expand in Bend, Adding Second Location

BEND, Ore. (KTVZ) -- KTVZ News has confirmed Trader Joe's is looking to expand in Bend, adding a second location in the former Joanne Fabric and Crafts store located at SW Highway 97 and Badger Road.

According to online documents, the landlord is currently going through the permit process, which states, "Remodel the former JoAnn's into a specialty grocery store with some leftover storage the Landlord will use. This is a shell and civil application only. The tenant will submit a TI plan in the near future."

The online documents also state, "Trader Joes TI 3 feeder with 15 branch circuits," when referring to electrical permits.

This would be the city's second location, following the currently Trader Joe's located at Cascade Village Shopping Center.
