BEND, Ore. (KTVZ) -- The Oregon Lightning and Bend FC have partnered to launch a new series of youth football development camps in Bend, Ore. The camps, designed to build skills, confidence and athletic growth for young athletes across Central Oregon, will begin Monday, June 22, at Pine Nursery Park.

These camps will run across three one-week sessions, offering structured, high-energy training for players ages 5 to 14. Each camp day will run from 8:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m., providing 16 hours of training per week. Sessions are capped at 80 athletes total per week to ensure personalized coaching and a high-quality experience.

The program emphasizes fundamentals, speed, agility, conditioning and competitive play, all in a fun, supportive environment. Oregon Lightning coaches and Bend FC development staff will lead the training.

Every camp day follows a consistent, development-focused progression. This includes check-in and warm-up, a camp huddle and daily theme, two skill blocks, a water and snack break, speed-agility-quickness training and competition and scrimmage. The day concludes with a cooldown, team talk and pickup.

The three one-week sessions are scheduled for June 22-25, June 29-July 2 and July 6-9. All sessions take place at Pine Nursery Park in Bend.

The collaboration between Bend FC and the Oregon Lightning brings together two organizations committed to youth development, community engagement and expanding access to high-quality football instruction in Central Oregon.

Spots for the camps are limited and expected to fill quickly. Families are encouraged to register early to secure their preferred week. Registration is available at www.theoregonlightning.com and www.bendfc.org.
