Madras to hold informational sessions for potential City Council members

MADRAS, Ore. (KTVZ) Are you interested in serving on the Madras City Council?

The city is offering informational sessions for residents considering a temporary council appointment or filing for office.

The first session was Thursday, August 13th.

A second session is Thursday, August 20th, from Noon to 1 p.m. on Zoom only.

The sessions are optional and are not interviews or candidate forums.

The filing deadline for Mayor and City Council is August 25th.
