The 33rd Annual Warm Springs Tribal Member and Youth Exhibit opens Nov. 18

Museum at Warm Springs

Bend, Ore. (KTVZ) --- The Museum at Warm Springs will host an opening reception for the “33rd Annual Warm Springs Tribal Member and Youth Exhibit” on Nov. 18, 2026. The exhibition displays work by adult and youth tribal members and will remain on view through Feb. 20, 2027.

The annual exhibit is curated by Angela Anne Smith, museum curator and exhibit coordinator. Selected artwork displayed during the exhibit will be available for purchase, with 20% of sales proceeds going to support the museum.

The opening reception will take place from 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. on Nov. 18 at the facility, located at 2189 U.S. Highway 26 in Warm Springs, Ore. The public reception will feature light refreshments for attendees.

The Museum at Warm Springs opened on March 14, 1993 and was constructed to Smithsonian Institution professional standards. The facility's mission is to preserve, advance and share the traditions, cultural heritage and artistic expression of The Confederated Tribes of Warm Springs, Ore., as well as other Indigenous peoples.

Regular museum hours are Tuesday through Saturday from 9 a.m. to noon and 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. Admission is free for museum members, $7 for adults, $6 for senior citizens over age 60, $4.50 for students ages 13 to 18 with a student body card, $3.50 for children ages 5 to 12 and free for children age 4 and younger.

The museum announced several upcoming holiday closures, including Nov. 11 for Veterans Day, Nov. 26 and Nov. 27 for Thanksgiving, Dec. 25 for Christmas Day and Jan. 1, 2027, for New Year's Day. Annual museum memberships start at $25 for elders and students, offering yearlong free admission, gift shop discounts and access to reciprocal museum programs across Oregon.

The exhibit opening reception is scheduled for Nov. 18, 2026, at 5:30 p.m., with the display remaining open through Feb. 20, 2027.
