KTVZ

JAKARTA, Indonesia (AP) — Indonesian police have arrested a woman who tried to force her way into the presidential palace in Jakarta by pointing a gun at a guard. There are no reports of injuries among the security forces. An official says a presidential guard saw the unidentified woman standing near a guard post outside the palace. The guard was suspicious of her behavior and confronted the woman, who then pointed a gun at him. Police are questioning the woman to determine her motive and whether she is connected to a militant group. Police say they seized a black bag from her containing Islam’s holy book, the Quran, and an empty pink wallet with no identification.
