REDMOND, Ore. KTVZ) -- NeighborImpact said Thursday it is now offering COVID-19 relief mortgage assistance for homeowners who have been financially impacted by the pandemic.

NeighborImpact was awarded a total of $488,969 for the program, funded in part by federal Community Services Block Grant funds provided by Oregon Housing and Community Services, as well as funding awarded by City of Bend and Deschutes County.

NeighborImpact’s COVID Relief Mortgage Assistance will help clients become current on their mortgage, receive mortgage payment for upcoming months, gain skills and information specific for homeowners via a virtual workshop and meet one-on-one with a housing counselor to review and identify personalized solutions that promote home stability.

  • Be a resident of Crook, Deschutes or Jefferson counties or The Confederated Tribes of Warm Spring
  • Be a homeowner
  • Have a household income at or below 160 percent Area Median Income for Deschutes county residents or 200 percent Federal Poverty Level for Jefferson and Crook counties and the Confederated Tribes of Warm Springs
  • Further restrictions and requirements may apply

The program is made possible thanks to the support of Deschutes County, Commission Chair Patti Adair, Commissioners Tony DeBone and Phil Henderson and county staff; and to City of Bend, Mayor Sally Russell and City Councilors and staff.
