Oregon reports 560th COVID-19 death, 363 new cases
Latest reported death is Klamath County man, 44, with underlying conditions
PORTLAND, Ore. (KTVZ) -- COVID-19 has claimed another life in Oregon, raising the state’s death toll to 560, along with 363 new cases, the Oregon Health Authority reported Thursday.
OHA reported 363 new confirmed and presumptive cases of COVID-19 as of 12:01 a.m. Thursday, bringing the state total to 33,862 cases and 658,083 negative test results.
The new cases reported Thursday are in the following counties: Baker (1), Benton (4), Clackamas (25), Columbia (7), Coos (5), Deschutes (7), Douglas (5), Jackson (27), Jefferson (9), Klamath (1), Lane (32), Linn (16), Malheur (11), Marion (37), Morrow (2), Multnomah (71), Polk (3), Umatilla (47), Union (1), Wallowa (1), Wasco (5), Washington (36), and Yamhill (10).
Oregon’s 560th COVID-19 death is a 44-year-old man in Klamath County who tested positive on Sept. 21 and died on Sept. 30, at Sky Lakes Medical Center. He had underlying conditions, OHA reported.
Crook County has had 63 COVID-19 cases, one death and 2,619 negative test results, OHA's Thursday report said. Deschutes County has had 879 cases, 12 deaths and 30,179 negative test results. Jefferson County has had 554 cases, eight deaths and 4,864 negative test results.
St. Charles Health System reported five COVID-19 patients as of 8:30 a.m. Thursday. One was in the ICU, but not on a ventilator.
