Sheriff Shane Nelson self-isolating at home after ‘low-risk’ COVID-19 exposure
BEND, Ore. (KTVZ) -- Deschutes County Sheriff Shane Nelson said Wednesday he is self-isolating at home after a "low-risk exposure to COVID-19" earlier this week.
"I am feeling great and working remotely," Nelson said in a post to his re-election Facebook page.
"County Health Services Director and his colleagues have suggested I self-isolate," the sheriff wrote.
"I want to make sure to keep our Sheriff's Office women and men and first responders safe, as well as the public," he concluded.
