Mt. Bachelor enjoys fresh powder and big crowds over MLK holiday weekend
More than 7,000 skiers and snowboarders hit the slopes of Mt. Bachelor each day for the holiday weekend, which exceeded expectations of the 5,000-visitor daily average.
Even with high winds in the forecast and some lifts temporarily closing due to weather, snow sport enthusiasts were ready to shred as soon as the resort opened each day.
