City of Redmond street closures, delays: Week of June 7-13

REDMOND, Ore. (KTVZ) -- City of Redmond road closures can be viewed on the Redmond Area Street Closures, Events and Delays Map and ODOT TripCheck.

**NEW CLOSURES:

  • NW Maple Ave from NW Rimrock Dr to NW Canyon Dr (Maple Avenue Bridge) – Temporary single lane closures, weekdays from 7:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., beginning on Monday, June 8 thru Thursday, July 2. The City and ODOT will be completing significant maintenance activities to repair bridge expansion joints and the wear course surface.  Motorists and pedestrians should expect delays of less than 20 minutes, with flaggers and a pilot car. Please use caution or an alternate route.
  • SW Kalama Ave from SW 12th St to SW 15th St – Closed for construction weekdays from 7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. from Monday, June 8 thru Wednesday, July 8.  SW Kalama Ave will be closed daily from SW 12th St to SW 15th St while McKernan Enterprises constructs a new waterline and completes street improvements. Please use detours or an alternate route. Local access will be available during construction hours.
  • SW Evergreen Ave at SW 5th St, SW 6th St – Traffic signal replacement on Tuesday, June 9. The City and ODOT will be installing new traffic signal controllers at SW Evergreen Ave at SW 5th St and SW Evergreen Ave at SW 6th St on Tuesday, June 9. Motorists should expect delays during the changeover and treat flashing red lights as 4-way stops.
  • SW Highland Ave at SW 5th St, SW 6th St – Traffic Signal replacement on Wednesday, June 10. The City and ODOT will be installing new traffic signal controllers at SW Highland Ave at SW 5th St and SW Highland Ave at SW 6th St on Wednesday, June 10. Motorists should expect delays during the changeover and treat flashing red lights as 4-way stops.

ONGOING CLOSURES:

  • NW Hemlock Ave from NW 19th St to NW 23rd St – Closed for construction thru Friday, September 4, 2020. 
  • S Canal Blvd from SW Badger Ave to SW Heights Ave – Temporary single lane closures, weekdays from 7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., thru Monday, August 31, 2020.
  • SW Obsidian Ave from SW 35th St to SW Helmholtz Way – Closed for construction thru Friday, July 3, 2020.

CITY MAINTENANCE OPERATIONS:

  • Crack seal operations will be commencing throughout the City; activities may temporarily disrupt lanes and intersections.
  • ADA Street Improvement projects and curb ramp enhancements will be occurring at local intersections; activities may temporarily disrupt lanes and intersections. 

NOTE - During street maintenance operations, closure durations and disruptions are determined by progress of the operation and weather conditions.
