There’s Good News: Crook County K9s undergo three days of specialized training

CROOK COUNTY, Ore. (KTVZ) -- In Crook County, the four-legged members of Search and Rescue are preparing for tough calls. 

The Crook County Sheriff’s Office K9 Team recently completed the second part of it's training, with three days of hard-work at Walton Lake. 

The dogs practiced detection from the shoreline, simulating a search with no boat available. 

The team says the training helps prepare its K9's and handlers for real-world conditions.
